Tracking Civil Liberties in Colorado

The CivilScore Tracker is a nonpartisan system designed to help Coloradans see clearly where their rights stand—by tracking the policies and politicians that impact civil liberties the most.

From privacy and due process to speech, firearms, and freedom of association, civil liberties are the backbone of a free society. When those rights are threatened, our job is to shine a light.

What Is the CivilScore?

The CivilScore is a simple, transparent rating that evaluates how bills, policies, elected officials, and candidates affect civil rights and liberties in Colorado. Each item or individual is rated on a scale—from strong support of civil liberties to posing a high risk to those rights.
